Lift Pit Excavation at Edinburgh International Climbing Area (EICA)

PRNS Building Services recently completed a lift pit construction project for the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena (EICA).

Upon arrival at the site, we ensured a safe working environment before commencing with the floor cutting using specialized equipment. Following this, our team began excavation work and installed reinforced steel to strengthen the structure. Concrete was then poured to form the pit floor, meticulously smoothed with trowels for a flawless finish.

All timber shutters and shuttering pans were expertly installed before concrete was poured into all designated areas. Upon completion of the construction phase, our team removed all equipment and handed over the site to Omega Lift Services, who installed the lift.

Finally, PRNS returned to complete the finishing touches, ensuring that the site was left in impeccable condition.
