Our Lift Pit Construction Solutions.
Lift Pit Excavation.
PRNS Building Services have highly skilled and trained operatives for specialist construction work such as pit excavation. This process needs to be safe, accurate and at a high quality which is what we provide nationwide.
Lift Pit Waterproofing.
With a wealth of experience in the industry, we know the importance of a professional service. Our waterproofing system we use is carried out by applying a layer of waterproof render to the internal face of the pit and done in three phase: Plug, Layer, Pump.
Lift Pit Painting.
Part of our lift pit work service is a professional finish such as painting the lift pit. At PRNS, we have our own nationwide finishing teams who specialise in this service to ensure that it is completed that high standard. Please see our before and after of this process carried out by our team.
Edinburgh International Climbing Centre:
Upon arrival at the site, we ensured a safe working environment before commencing with the floor cutting using specialized equipment. Following this, our team began excavation work and installed reinforced steel to strengthen the structure. Concrete was then poured to form the pit floor, meticulously smoothed with trowels for a flawless finish.
All timber shutters and shuttering pans were expertly installed before concrete was poured into all designated areas. Upon completion of the construction phase, our team removed all equipment and handed over the site to Omega Lift Services, who installed the lift.
Finally, PRNS returned to complete the finishing touches, ensuring that the site was left in impeccable condition.
Newell Brands, Lichfield:
PRNS installed herris fencing around the new pallet lift area to segregate Newell Brands staff and keep the work area safe for PRNS and site, we then excavated a pallet lift pit with a digger and mini dumper to remove spoil into skips onsite (all to structural drawings).
We then installed visqueen and A393 rebar to prepare for the c35 concrete pouring of the dock leveller base and upstand walls. Once concrete had cured any shuttering was removed and hoarding also removed .

B&M Store, London:
At the B&M site in London PRNS excavated a brand-new lift pit and also constructed a new 215mm lift shaft to allow 2 stop platform lift to be installed for the newly opening store, this was all time sensitive with the client pushing for the opening.
PRNS also created a new concrete cap at the top of the new lift shaft to allow lifting eyes to be installed and tested for the new lift to be installed from.
