CASE STUDIES

Making Good at OSBORNE COURT

Our team fitted three temporary hoardings to all the lift entrances to allow safe access and safe conditions for all operatives whilst working on the Osborne Court site in St Helens. Health and Safety signage were also visibly displayed on all three of the onsite hoardings. Once the lift beam was tested and the scaffold was in place our team began the making good process.

For this site our finishing team fitted new flooring, joinery and professionally decorated as part of the making good service at PRNS.

Making good at BOURTON-ON-THE-WATER

Our team at the Bourton-on-the-Water PRNS Building built a 1000kg passenger lift for Allied Lifts. This process started with the removal of the concrete floor slab before the pit excavation began. We then installed the reinforced steels and poured the concrete to form the pit floor. Our team then accurately installed all the timber shutters and poured the concrete into all necessary areas. This was followed with the cutting of the apertures and building the shaft through the roof line. Once the scaffold was in place, we completed the lift shaft with a traditional flat roof. On our next visit we painted the lift pit and our finishing team began with the making good process.

For the this process we started with fitting the plasterboards around the lift entrances followed by professional plastering as showcased in our before & after site imagery below. Our team then painted and finished the lift entrances to a high PRNS standard.

making good at PREMIER INN, NEWCASTLE

The PRNS team at the Premier Inn in Newcastle supplied and installed temporary hoardings on the first floor and boarded off the gate at lower level. Once the platform lift was installed by our client, we began making good.

For this process our onsite operatives made good around the control panels and the entrances at the Premier Inn site. We then finished by safely removing the door at ground level.

The team at PRNS supplied and installed four bespoke temporary hoardings at the Boots site in Dartford. Our operatives then carried out the decoration and refurbishment to the site. This included supplying of the chequer plate corners, threshold fire line all entrances shaft side, setback boxes for pushes and indicators.

On our final visit we completed making good to all entrances. this included plastering, joinery and flooring. Please note this project is the removal of the goods lift converted into a passenger lift
